ABOUT

I counsel families, couples, and individuals- including adults, adolescents, and children- from my private practice in downtown Woodside.

With an emphasis on improving relationships through family systems work, couples counseling and individual therapies, I focus on the client’s ability to reach his or her full potential and achieve a balance between emotions and behaviors. My goal is to help clients achieve tangible lifelong skills to manage current or potential future mental health concerns. My work is collaborative and respectful, ensuring shared goals are met in a timely manner.

“Unconditional support for your journey.”
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in high-tech marketing for two successful start-up companies, S3 Incorporated and Nvidia Corporation, lastly as a Director of Corporate Marketing. My first career gave me a deep understanding of how Silicon Valley culture affects individuals, couples and entire families. I attended graduate school at Notre Dame De Namur University with an emphasis on family, couples and individual therapy. I also received training in cross-cultural communication and therapy for diverse populations. I have shared my educational expertise as a trustee of a local elementary school.

I have worked with children and adults of various socio-economic status, racial and ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, abilities and sexual orientations.

Before opening a private practice in 2008, I spent seven years as a therapist at the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) in Mountain View, including four years counseling adolescents at a local middle school.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Board Certified Professional Counselor and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
